TO ME, COMMUNITY IS...
People who are taking care of themselves first and then able to support the greater community whether small or large.

I FEEL MOST PROUD WHEN...
I'm able to show up fully as I know myself to be with people who are showing up the same way.

THIS YEAR I'M CELEBRATING...
Being a Black Queer Dyke.

I WISH MORE PEOPLE CARED ABOUT...
Older Black LGBTQ people.

THE FUTURE IS...
One that allows space for Black LGBTQ youth to live safely.

TO ME, COMMUNITY IS...
Family, love, unity and strength.

I FEEL MOST PROUD WHEN...
I see my community thriving and living in their light.

THIS YEAR I'M CELEBRATING...
The youth of our communities — they are our future and I vow to always invest in them!

I WISH MORE PEOPLE CARED ABOUT...
Pouring joy back into our young people and our elders.

THE FUTURE IS...
Inclusive, unified, queer af and youth empowered!

TO ME, COMMUNITY IS...
The people I feel safe with. My loved ones with whom I share my dreams, desires, visions for the future with. Those who I'm committed to practicing deep care with. The people I choose to share space, time, emotions and resources with.

I FEEL MOST PROUD WHEN...
I'm able to live in my most authentic and unapologetic truth. I feel most proud when I'm not afraid to get in my own way (or my own head) and when I'm able to move with love and tenderness for others while still honoring my wants and needs.

THE FUTURE IS...
Queering and questioning everything we've ever been taught, moving at the speed of ease and health, Black women, nonbinary and trans folks owning their power and calling the shots.
