During the week before Mother's Day, organizations in dozens of cities across the country bailed out as many mothers as possible. These mothers would have otherwise spent Mother’s Day in a cell simply because they could not afford bail. - National Bail Out
Philadelphia Print Works collaborated with the Women in Re-Entry Program at the People's Paper Co-op to create a t-shirt design that amplified the voices of formerly incarcerated women. We were also excited to participate in a community print day produced and hosted by the People's Paper Co-op.
100% of the profit from the sale of the shirt was donated to the Philadelphia Community Bail Fund for Mama's Bail Out Day.
We're proud to share that we've raise $2,000 (and counting) toward the effort to end cash bail.
