On April 4th, The DreamYard Project paid us a visit. DreamYard is a Bronx based youth program that develops, nurtures and cultivates the skills needed to make change and reach positive goals. Their fashion class was in Philly for the week on a printmaking field trip. They also visited The Colored Girls Museum and The Fabric Workshop and Museum. During their time with us, we talked about starting a socially responsible business and designing for social change. The group also participated in a hands-on screen printing demo where they made their own shirts! We had such a great time. Their genuine excitement and curiosity were infectious. We're so honored that they chose to include us on their tour.
